Pop music is not a category in a record shop and what I define as Pop may be sitting in the Jazz, Instrumental, Rock, or the Punk sections.
This show explores “post modernism “ in music. Each week themes like: great back-up vocals in songs, the “sitar” period in R&B, jazz artists creating aural sound-scapes, the most popular songwriters you have never heard of, songs to sing to while driving, and songs to stalk your lover by, all define a new twist as to what I define as popular. It's my personal exploration, and I invite you to join in on the fun.
